About the Opportunity:
  
Due to ongoing growth, our clients are looking for an AAT accountant to support with their portfolio. They are looking for a steady candidate to join their accounts team.
  
About the Responsibilities:
  
Joining as an AAT Accountant, you will be providing accountancy and business support services to a portfolio of clients, operating across various industries. You will be working under the guidance of the Senior Accountants to assist with the provision of the following services:  
  • Managing workflow to meet deadlines
  • Accurate recording of all financial transactions through ledger postings, nominal journals, bank reconciliations etc
  • Processing client records to software including QuickBooks & Xero
  • Calculate & make adjustments for depreciation, prepayments, accruals & tax provision
  • File VAT returns with HMRC & within accounting data

  • Xero software experience
  • Great communication skills
  • A ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to seek answers
