About the Responsibilities:
You will be providing accountancy services to a portfolio of clients, operating across various industries.
This role will involve:
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients to ensure the client experience is outstanding
- Preparation and review of management accounts and management reporting for a portfolio of clients
- Self-Assessment preparation & submission for more complex clients
- Undertake year-end review and preparation of workpapers
- Maintain and review regular cashflow, budgeting and forecasts
- Initial review of VAT returns
- Tax planning with clients
- Review and perform the newly introduced mid-year review service
- Developing and managing financial systems and identifying areas for improvement
- Overseeing client deadlines to ensure junior team members prioritise their workload
- Responding to finance-related queries and providing analysis and insights to clients
- Offering guidance, support and training to junior team members
- Review of junior members performance via annual appraisals

- Experience with Xero accounting software is advantageous
