About The Opportunity: Joining as a full time Payroll Technician, you will be providing payroll services to a portfolio of clients, operating across various industries using Sage Payroll.
About The Role: You will be working under the guidance of the payroll team to assist with the provision of the following services:
- Managing own workflow to meet associated deadlines
- Preparing and distributing all aspects of employee payments
- Maintaining payroll records and calculating taxes
- Ensuring timely submission of data to HMRC and maintaining compliance with GDPR
- Administration of pension contributions and ensuring auto-enrolment rules are being adhered to
- Providing a friendly point of contact to clients for payroll and bookkeeping related queries

- CIPP and/or AAT qualified/part qualified
- Strong understanding of payroll and HR
- Work experience within an accountancy practice environment would be preferred
- Adaptable and wanting to develop skills across both payroll and bookkeeping
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to balance workloads to manage the needs of various clients
- Possesses excellent attention to detail
- The ability to remain calm under pressure
- Proactive and willing to take on increased responsibility from the outset
