About the Responsibilities:
You will be supporting the team by providing bookkeeping and payroll services to a portfolio of clients operating across various industries.
This role will involve:
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients to ensure the client experience is outstanding
  • Bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
  • Assisting the accounts team
  • Managing own workflow to meet associated deadlines
  • Preparing and distributing all aspects of employee payments
  • Maintaining payroll records and calculating taxes
  • Ensuring timely submission of data to HMRC and maintaining compliance with GDPR
  • Administration of pension contributions and ensuring auto-enrolment rules are being adhered to
  • Providing a friendly point of contact to clients for payroll queries

  • AAT/CIPP qualified with experience managing junior team members
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to balance workloads to manage the needs of various clients
  • Experience in managing a portfolio of clients with bookkeeping knowledge
  • Experience with Xero accounting software is advantageous
