About the Opportunity: They are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients across various industries, delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services. This is a client-facing role requiring excellent technical knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting junior team members.
About the Responsibilities: - Manage a portfolio of clients, acting as their main point of contact for accounting and tax matters.
- Prepare and review year-end accounts, corporation tax returns, VAT returns, and management accounts.
- Ensure all statutory deadlines are met for your client
- Provide proactive advice and support to clients on accounting, tax planning, and general financial matters.
- Review and oversee work prepared by junior staff, providing guidance and training where necessary.
- Identify opportunities to improve client processes and
- Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to client retention and
- Keep up to date with changes in tax and accounting legislation relevant to SME businesses.

About the Applicant: - ACCA, ACA, MAAT or equivalent qualified with relevant
- At least 3–5 years of experience in an accountancy
- Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax
